Welcome to Skor Worldwide (“we,” “us,” “our”), a sports recruiting platform designed to empower and connect female athletes with collegiate programs, professional opportunities, and athletic development resources. By accessing or using our services, you (“you,” “user,” “athlete,” “guardian,” or “coach”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Purpose of the Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Skor Worldwide’s website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). They establish a legal agreement between you and Skor Worldwide regarding your rights, responsibilities, and obligations when using our services.

2. Eligibility

To use Skor Worldwide, you must meet the following criteria:

Be at least 13 years old. If under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
Be a female athlete, coach, recruiter, or authorized representative.
Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these criteria or violates these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

Skor Worldwide is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

4. Services Offered

Skor Worldwide provides the following services:

Athlete Profiles: Showcase athletic achievements, stats, videos, and academic records.
Recruiting Tools: Connect with college coaches, recruiters, and scouts.
Messaging System: Communicate securely with verified users.
Performance Analytics: Track progress and receive feedback.
Events & Camps: Register for showcases, tournaments, and training sessions.
Educational Resources: Access guides on scholarships, recruiting timelines, and eligibility.

We may update or modify services at any time without prior notice.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Platform ethically and legally. You must not:

Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
Impersonate another person or entity.
Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code.
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
Use the Platform for commercial solicitation without authorization.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices, including:

Sharing data with verified recruiters and coaches.

We implement industry-standard security measures but cannot guarantee absolute protection.

7. Content Ownership and Licensing

You retain ownership of the content you upload, including photos, videos, and written materials. However, by posting content, you grant Skor Worldwide a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

Display your content on the Platform.
Share content with recruiters and partners.
Use content for promotional and educational purposes.

You represent that you have the rights to all content you upload and that it does not infringe on third-party rights.

8. Payment Terms

Some services may require payment, including premium memberships, event registration, or promotional features. You agree to:

Pay all applicable fees in a timely manner.
Provide accurate billing information.
Understand that fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

We use secure third-party payment processors. Skor Worldwide does not store credit card information.

9. Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

Event cancellation by Skor Worldwide.
Duplicate charges due to system error.
Service failure due to technical issues.

To request a refund, contact support within 14 days of the transaction. Refunds are processed within 10 business days.

10. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these Terms.
Engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior.
Fail to pay required fees.

You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Platform will cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our retention policy.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through:

Informal Negotiation: Contact us to resolve issues amicably.
Arbitration: If unresolved, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Jurisdiction: This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.

You waive your right to participate in class actions or jury trials.

12. Geographic Restrictions

Skor Worldwide is intended for use in jurisdictions where our services are legally permitted. Users outside the United States must ensure compliance with local laws. We do not guarantee service availability in all regions.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, software, and design elements, is the property of Skor Worldwide or its licensors. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
Use our trademarks or branding without written consent.

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

Skor Worldwide provides services “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee:

That the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.
That athletes will receive offers or scholarships.
That content posted by others is accurate or reliable.

Use the Platform at your own risk.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skor Worldwide is not liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Loss of data, revenue, or reputation.
Actions of third parties, including recruiters or coaches.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the past 12 months.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skor Worldwide, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the Platform.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your infringement of third-party rights.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on the Platform with the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review the Terms regularly.

18. Parental Consent and Minor Athletes

If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must:

Review and accept these Terms on your behalf.
Monitor your use of the Platform.
Consent to data collection and communication with recruiters.

We may require verification of parental consent.

19. Coach and Recruiter Conduct

Coaches and recruiters using Skor Worldwide must:

Represent legitimate institutions or organizations.
Communicate respectfully and professionally.
Avoid coercion, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior.

We reserve the right to verify credentials and remove users who violate these standards.

20. Third-Party Services

Skor Worldwide may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., video hosting, analytics, payment processors). We are not responsible for:

The content or practices of third-party sites.
Data shared with third parties under your consent.

Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

21. Accessibility

We strive to make Skor Worldwide accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. If you encounter barriers, please contact us for assistance. We are committed to continuous improvement in accessibility.

22. Feedback and Suggestions

Internet outages
Labor disputes

Such events may affect service availability temporarily.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Skor Worldwide. They supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings related to the Platform.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
